Brochures
Most companies choose double-sided printing because it makes the most use of the available space. Of course, if you’re on a restricted budget, then it may be perfectly sensible to go with a brochure that features one-sided printing.
Brochures are most frequently printed either on 80 # or 100 # paper. These weights are a little heavier, making them easier to hand out. Heavier paper maintains good flexibility for folding yet is sturdy enough to stand up to regular use. This means that your customers can repeatedly refer to your brochure without worrying about it falling apart.
Both matte and gloss finish options are available. If your brochure mostly contains text and uses soft colors, then it may look its best with a matte finish. This option cuts down on reflections and glare, making it particularly easy to read.
However, when you are using lots of vivid, saturated colors and large images, then it may be wise to choose a gloss finish. Thanks to a fade-resistant surface, your brochure will be even better prepared to stand the test of time.
Standard brochure sizes
Standard brochure sizes from five-and-a-half by eight-and-a-half inches up to eight-and-a-half by 14 inches are readily available. Businesses frequently choose these sizes when they want to describe their products and services. Photography studios, doctor’s offices, Realtors, trade fair attendees and non-profit organizations are just a few of the companies that frequently use brochure sizes in this range.
Larger brochure sizes that include eleven by 17 inches and eleven by 23.375 inches may be appropriate for mini maps and theme parks. Thanks to the larger format, there is even more room to print incredibly detailed and helpful information.
How would you like to have your brochures folded?
When you hire Solo Printing to create your brochures, you can have them folded any way you wish. Simple bi-folds and tri-folds are among the most popular choices, but we also can handle the z fold, the double parallel fold, the right-angle half fold and the right-angle tri-fold.
At Solo Printing, we can even do things like perforate one of the panels on your brochures. This is especially handy if you decide to include a coupon or a form that the customer can fill out and give to one of your representatives to be contacted about your products and services.
If you have never designed a brochure before and are unsure about where to begin, contact Solo Printing.
Our expert designers have years of experience that they are happy to share with you. Just let us know the details that you want your brochure to convey, and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll even help you to select appropriate images and graphics so that your brochures are certain to get noticed.
Most brochures consist of a single sheet of paper printed on both sides. Accordingly, this tends to be a more affordable option when compared to booklets and other publications. This is because no binding is required.
However, you might consider diversifying your publications with booklets or other material that provides you with more opportunities to describe the details of your products and services. For instance, many companies hand out brochures as an initial point of contact, and then follow up with a booklet or other material when the potential customer expresses interest.
