CONTROLLER
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Controller who likes to be “hands-on” to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget, forecasts preparation, as well as handling several operational functions. Job Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of transactions in the general ledger.
- Audits purchasing procedures, internal controls, bookkeeping activity, production and distribution methods, and operating procedures.
- Prepares and distributes financial reports and statements; explains variances, adjustments, and financial impacts of transactions; provides analyses of results.
- Controls accounting activity including billing, receivables, payables, bank accounts, inventory values, fixed assets and depreciation schedules, general ledger, and forecasting.
- Is responsible for tax activity for federal, state, and local agencies, filing and/or monitoring filing, coordination with third parties assisting Solo Printing, timely tax payments, responding to notices, and participation at meetings and hearings, as needed, to represent Solo Printing.
- Manages and monitors accounting personnel and for other Solo Printing employees to the extent that they perform an accounting-related activity.
- Manages customer intake at Solo Printing; provides new customers appropriate forms to complete, requests credit information, reviews credit information, determines and approves credit terms and limits, notifies customers regarding credit status, and manages customer profiles in EFI.
- Manages vendor intake at Solo Printing, vendor profiles in EFI, and accounts payable processing.
- Is responsible for accounts receivable, collection activities, and resolving customer credit questions and problems.
- Responsible for reviewing bank accounts daily, reviews bank reconciliations and ensures that the general ledger reflects correct balances each day.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA or Similar Certification a plus
- 5-15 years of accounting experience

Pay
- Salary including bonus $130,000 – $150,000

This is not a remote position – candidate is required to work at the office 8:00am-5:00pm and possibly extra time depending on workload
